Mr. Scott was my employer. When the Mayor told everyone to go back to the office in May he told us that we could go back in October because he was not gonna do whatever the Mayor said. Little that I know when mandate came along his EEO denied my reasonable accommodation request. They promptly put me on unpaid leave On December 24th, 2021. Fired February 14th, 2022. Still waiting for my day in Court. I would not vote for him even if they give me a million dollars.
I am sorry to read this. A friend sent a clip of Tim Waltz's use of the national guard against Minnesota residents. We are in the grips of such authoritarianism but so few can see it.
Plenty see it. Probably 50 or 60% of the Dems don't see it. The others are starting to that's why you are getting people like Gavin Newsom doing podcasts with Charlie Kirk (just one example)
Newsom is just trying to rebrand himself for a presidential run. Our state if falling apart - literally - but I fear many would vote for him not understanding the photos of the big cities are real.
Unfortunately, many people in the big cities do not see the authoritarianism. Dealing with them gives me PTSD. It is as if they lockdowns never happened, nor the passports. A teacher friend asked me how could it be that the union didn't have his back during the mandates. I responded that he wasn't relevant, only his dues/pension were. I pointed out that if their pension value was a country, it would rank above most nations.
I don't like Newsom but he's no dummy. He knows he needs the rebrand because the country as a whole has rejected lockdowns and mandates. That is a very good sign for us and how the political dial has moved.
I hope so but the LA city council just passed a new budget doubling down on failed policies at the expense of infrastructure. By the grace of God, fires did not spread to other LA canyons with old winding roads with no easy escape for fleeing residents.

Horrible! 😡
People like that don’t deserve any power vested by the people.
i like this bum and was going to vote for him but now ??? him
This is very disappointing…atrocious really.
Don't rank criminal Cuomo mafioso either! That mass murderous psycho belongs in jail for life!
I agree - idk if we can recommend anyone rank ANY Democrat. The *only one* we are even lightly considering now is Michael Blake (from the Bronx)
Even Phil Wong could not endorse anyone during the podcast this morning. YIKES.

What failed policies remain ?
But since he is NOT unvaccinated ?
Elected officials were exempt.
NYC mayors will be hopeless.
I'd bet the farm Stringer is vaccinated
