When Trump did this for the military, I joked that those who didn't want to come back should sign up and then resign after they get the back pay. We should have no loyalty to a crooked system that screwed many.

They are short teachers and cops for sure. Military is also going to be short because they can no longer recruit undocumented immigrants, which they did for years offering a pathway to citizenship in exchange for military service.

All politicians do what benefits them - usually what benefits them within the next 15 minutes. Trump reinstated military with backpay and an apology. That is a good start and a good signal for fired unvaxxed workers in NYC and across the country.

I hope those that don't want to go back continue on their lawsuit so that the idiotic legal system can have a record that mandates create damages.
