I agree bodily autonomy should be the standard, but in deep blue states we are just not there. That's why protecting and restoring religious exemptions is such an important step on the path towards total bodily autonomy.
What is concerning is a belief of many Critical Legal Theorists that inalienable rights are a fiction granted by the State and what is given can be taken. I think this is why so many judges deferred so greatly to the State as it was they've been taught in law school.

Forcing coercive, mandated (No laws were passed - NOT legally required!) so-called experimental & dangerous medical treatments/mandates on workers/citizens goes directly against our constitutional, privacy & medical rights. No one should be forced to give up their bodily autonomy, their right of choice re: medical consent/freedom/privacy rights, whether they are religious or not.
This has no doubt been discussed many times but why is this lawsuit not aiming for the stronger case of maintaining constitutional rights/Nuremberg Law protections for all citizens/workersā medical mandates refusals & NOT just for those claiming religious exemptions? Arguing religious exemptions divides citizens out once again & those refusing to cite/claim any religious exemption will be left out due to a narrow precedent/ruling based on a limited legal ruling. Right? Itās NO ONEās business - the educational system, government or medical establishment - re: our personal religious beliefs, adherence to them or our LACK of āorganized religiousā beliefs. :/
