In California legislation has been signed into law by the governor that allows their Department of Health, along with the American Academy of Pediatrics, to make vaccine guidance. Some are warning that this could open the door for further restrictions to be placed on parents, new lawsuits to be brought against doctors and troublesome cuts to be made to the state’s federal funding.
