Last week unvaccinated NYC workers met privately to put together a list of questions for NYC (DCAS) regarding the newly announced reinstatement process.
As for the DOE providing an actual human liaison to workers, I will believe it when I see it. As it stands now it is just an email address impossible to follow up on.
I’ve been following and supporting TFC and have had several conversations through the comment sections with Michael Kane. My question is, I have applied for religious exemption was denied, and I was terminated on September 6, 2022. I was forced to retire with 23 yrs of teaching service, are you now telling me because I was forced into retirement I can’t apply for my job back?
I’m wondering just to meet the deadline date of Dec 5th I still should apply. Also I on the same day you gave guidance to apply to the dept you sent for teachers to get more info I did and I received a reply that said they received my email not to reply it was only for receiving.

Unfortunately yes, that's the case. We are currently working on what options we have to deal with this injustice. Stay tuned
